Purpose of data processing

Purpose A: Logging of website visits on the basis of the by one octet anonymized IP address or the by the subdomain anonymized host name for evaluating the number of visitors and the pages visited

Purpose B: Logging system events with IP address to troubleshoot and prevent attacks on our website

Legal basis of data processing

A and B are processed on the basis of legitimate interests in accordance with article 6 (1) (f) EU GDPR.

Legitimate interests of the data processor

For purpose A: The purpose of the website is to attract and inform new clients and to provide information to interested parties. In order to measure the effectiveness of this site and to be able to optimize the site on the basis of this data, the data for purpose A are collected.

For purpose B: To ensure permanently the technical availability of the page, the system events are stored and evaluated. In order to be able to recognize and prevent deliberately caused events, all events are stored together with IP addresses.

Recipient of the data

Since both the software logging the visits to the website (purpose A) and the hosting of the website (purpose B) is provided by our service provider Visisoft OHG Schonenfahrerstr. 7 18057 Rostock, access to the system (e.g. log files) is possible.
